Doing your laundry at home is great. And that one washer is probably enough for you and your family. But what if one day everyone in your extended family descended on your house for a week long sleepover. That poor machine would quickly be overwhelmed. Parallel platform event subscribers work for Apex subscribers and are like being able to materialize more washing machines for your high usage platform events. In this talk I’ll go through how to make use of them, and walk through some performance statistics to show how throughput changes as you add new subscribers.
